Our "Christmas Through the Decades " event is our way of connecting our beautiful automobiles of the 1930's, 40's and 50's to Christmases past in a fun and nostalgic way. We have living room settings spotlighting a tree decorated in each era that are perfect for photo ops, complete with props!
This year we would like to expand that idea by having trees scattered throughout the museum that serve many functions:
* They will showcase a local business to our guests and social media followers. There will be a sign in front of the tree with the name of the sponsor, and sponsors will be listed on our website and social media platforms.
* The sponsorship funds educational experiences for our community so the important impact that the Ford automobile, and specifically the V8 engine, had on our country is passed on in a tangible way, and inspires an interest in continuing the classic car community
* The sponsorship funds also are shared with a local community fund that benefits children with autism

The theme of the tree is guided by the sponsor. The only request we have is that as you choose your decorations, they give a nostalgic feeling of one of the decades of our cars: 1930's, 1940's or 1950's. The sponsor is responsible for coming in and decorating their tree with their own decorations during the weekend of Fri, Sat. and/or Sun, November 13th, 14th, and 15th, during the 9-5 hours. YES, that is VERY SOON!
We will have the tree here waiting for you with an extension cord and sign.
There will be a special preview night on Thursday, Nov. 19th from 6-8:00, open only to our sponsors and foundation members. This is a free event, and it is absolutely magical seeing the museum lit only with Christmas lights and candlelight, with soft instrumental Christmas carols playing in the background!
The trees need to be on display until at least after our Sat. Dec. 12th event. The decorating needs to be finished by Sunday, Nov. 15th at 5:00. If the sponsor wishes to pick up their tree on Sunday, Dec. 13 to display in their business or donate it to a local family, they may. Or they can leave it on display at the museum until Sun. Jan 3. They may pick up the tree anytime between Dec. 13 and Jan. 3. Or they may donate the tree back to the museum.
