This Christmas event has it all to make your holiday season even more special!

Yes, Santa will arrive!

Yes, there will be live music as the Auburn Community Band, the Dekalb County Orchestra AND the Dekalb High School Choir fill the museum with the beautiful sounds of Christmas carols!

You will see our traditional "Christmas Through the Decades" Christmas trees decorated and set in period living room settings of the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's to go along with the years of our museum cars! These are fabulous holiday photo ops! We encourage you to go all out and dress in period clothing as you sit by these trees!

But several new additions will make this year even more special!

There will be sponsored trees scattered about, as well! A business or person can sponsor a Christmas tree by making a donation based on the height of the tree which will benefit a local charity and the museum. We provide the tree, the sponsor decorates it on the weekend of Fri-Sun, November 13-14-15 during regular museum hours. This is a great way to showcase your business in a fun and creative way! The only requirement we have is that your tree have a definite 1930's, 1940's, or 1950's feel! Trees will be placed near the area of the corresponding cars. For information on being a sponsor, check out the news article here. If you are interested in sponsoring a tree, please contact our office at 260-927-8022!

Our main theme this year: Christmas at the Rotunda! You may not be aware that the round architecture of the museum is a smaller replica of Henry Ford's actual Ford Rotunda he had bult for the 1933 Chicago World's Fail! After the fair, Henry moved it back in front of his corporate offices in Dearborn, and it was used as an event center. No one in Dearborn did Christmas bigger than the Ford Company! Many adults have come through here sharing their memories of going to the Rotunda as little kids!

Thre will be a display of photos that help visualize how large this Christmas even was! To help us understand the significance it had, there will be a true Ford Rotunda historian, Dave Litoget from North Carolina, to share his rare photos and usual displays! He will be giving a wonderful slideshow presentation at 11:00 Sat. Dec. 12., free with admission! Dave is also a descendant of Henry Ford! So don't miss this grand opportunity!

We have our traditional ELF scavenger hunt for kids of all ages! The kids love it!

So get the family bundled up and come out to this free event at our museum!
